happy new year // six mo. blogversary

Here we are on the brink of a new year, and I just realized that I missed my six month blogversary on the 26th! It's been such an encouraging six months and I can't wait to see how this blog grows (and improves) over the next year. One of my New Year's resolutions is to open an Etsy shop - fingers crossed!

To celebrate six months of successful (meaning I haven't stopped yet!) blogging, I've invited my top six posts to step into the spot light once again.

DIY Wool Ear Warmer // A Sweater Repurposed

And the felted wool series continues! 

Today I'll show you how to turn an old wool sweater into a cozy, feminine ear warmer (actually, you could easily make two or three from one sweater!). I've included instructions for how to make the flowers shown in the picture above, but this is the kind of project that you could easily change to suit your taste. At the end I've included a picture of another ear warmer I made with a different flower style.

Hey guys, I finally got it up! This project had been almost finished for a while, but right before Thanksgiving I sewed a sleeve inside out. Have you ever tried picking out a stretch stitch? Crazy hard. Well I finally dragged myself through that pit of despair and resewed the sleeve. Whew.
