I love to cruise around ModCloth looking for pretty knockoff ideas. I instantly fell in love with their Retro Bike Ride Top. I mean, just look at that collar!
Someday I would love to do a true knockoff of this blouse, but this was my version so I could practice drafting the collar. If I ever figure out a way to upload the pattern, I'll make that available and do a full tutorial.
And I couldn't resist paring it with the matching skirt I made last year.
So um, yeah, recognize that fabric???
That sheet has gone so far.
Addendum: I realized after naming it the "butterfly collar" that there already is a collar style by that name. But mine totally looks more like a butterfly. So there.

The collar is adorable, Kaitlin! And it looks terrific against the black top...paired with the matching skirt. I think "butterfly collar" is a perfect name for it, by the way. ;)
