Shoe Redeux

Today's post is inspired by Sachiko at Tea Rose Home. Her July 2nd post ("Shoe Refashions") inspired me to play with this pair that has been hiding in my closet for the past year.

I bought them for a bridesmaid's outfit last summer and have never worn them since. The satin always seemed too shiny and formal to pull off in other settings. 

Using Sachiko's yo-yos tutorial, I whipped up these cutie pies. (Well, slowly whipped. It took me an entire Miss Marple episode to make them all. I kept snapping my thread!)

Attached with the hot glue gun and presto!

I'm so in love.

I must find an excuse to wear them asap.

I'm amazed that so little effort could have such a big impact on these shoes. From blah to bling in under two hours! Awesome sauce.
